MURRAY L. COLE , born Paterson, New Jersey, April 25, 1922; admitted to bar, 1949, New Jersey and U.S. District Court, District of New Jersey; 1956, U.S. Supreme Court. Education: Williams College (B.A., 1943); Cornell Law School (J.D., 1948). [Comdr., U.S.N.R., 1943-1946, Retired.] Mr. Cole was a Partner in the firms of Cole, Morrill & Berman; and Cole, Geaney, Yamner & Bray. He served as Counsel to the firm of Dunn, Pashman, Sponzelli, Swick & Finnerty. He is Chair of the Board of Trustees of Montclair State University, a Board on which he has served since 1981, as Chair for eight of them. He is a Member and past Chair of the Advisory Council of the Boy Scouts of America, and was a Member of the Executive Board of the Boy Scouts of America. He served as a Director of United Jersey Bank for fifteen years. Mr. Cole is a Member of the National Panel of Arbitrators of The American Arbitration Association, a past President of the Passaic County Bar Association, a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation, and a former Vice Chairman of the American Bar Association Committee on Real Estate Contracts. He is a Trustee, and past Secretary and Vice President of the New Jersey State Bar Foundation, and a former Trustee of the New Jersey State Bar Association. Mr. Cole joined Williams, Caliri, Miller & Otley, P.C. in 1995 as Counsel, continuing his practice in the areas of real estate, banking, and commercial law. Year Joined Organization
